Curriculum Audit Site Visit PREPARATION MEETING
The site visit for our Curriculum Audit will take place this Tuesday, March 22nd. As a reminder, this will be an all day visit, and the majority of time will be spent visiting classrooms (including advisories). All teachers should expect multiple visitors on this day. Lesson plans should be available for all classes including advisory. A voluntary meeting is scheduled for Monday during 4th period to discuss the day and answer questions. Feel free to bring your lunch and attend the meeting. All are welcome. The meeting will be held in room 485.

School Surveys (REMINDER)
The school survey process continues. All advisors should pick up their student survey envelopes in the AP office on Monday morning. It is extremely important that all of your advisees complete the survey. Surveys should be turned in to Monica each week. Compliance with completion will be closely monitored. All surveys must be completed by Friday, April 1st. Advisors should closely read the directions included in the envelope. See Monica if you have any questions.

Spring Spirit Week & Dance (REMINDER)
PNA’s spring Spirit Week is scheduled to take place this week. Spirit Week will culminate in a dance for students. The dance will take place from 7:00-10:00 on Friday, March 25th. Chaperones are needed. Please see Ms. Heller (aheller7@schools.nyc.gov) if you would like to volunteer to chaperone. Per session will be paid.

NYC Writing Project PD Opportunity
The NYC Writing Project is partnering with our network to offer 20 teachers the opportunity to participate in professional development around the topic: “Writing from the Core: Teaching Argument, Persuasion, and the Art of the Essay”. This is a six part workshop series for teachers of all content areas focused on reading, writing, and the Common Core standards. The workshops will take place two Saturdays and four Thursdays (afterschool). Participating teachers will receive up to 20 hours of per session.
