Differentiation Walkthrough (RESCHEDULED)
This Monday, members of our network team will join administration and conduct an instructional walkthrough. The lens for this walkthrough will be Differentiation. Data will be collected from an observation of classroom instruction/activities, hallway and classroom bulletin boards, and lesson plans. Direct Teaching Best Practices
A walkthrough of select classrooms was recently conducted. The lens of the walkthrough was Direct Teaching. Teachers whose classrooms were observed received their individual reports detailing low inference observations. A list of best practices was generated based on these reports. These best practices align to each of the Danielson Elements under the Direct Teaching section of the PNA Instructional Framework Rubric. These best practices can be found at the following link:

Hard Lockdown Feedback
The Stevenson Campus recently participated in a hard lockdown drill. After the drill was conducted, Ms. Cook and Mr. Liu met with representatives from Tweed and the NYPD. Thank you to everyone who participated in the drill. Overall, the feedback was positive. Most classrooms fully complied with the lockdown procedures. As a reminder, during this type of drill, classroom lights must be off, all staff and students should be away from doors, out of sight, and quiet. Senior Prom & Senior Trip
Chaperones are needed for the Senior Trip and Senior Prom. The trip will take place on June 1st through the 2nd. The prom will be on June 6th from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. See Mr. Liu (dliu2@schools.nyc.gov) if you would like to chaperone. Per session will be paid.
