Welcome to PNA!

Welcome Sarah Payne-Baader, Allison Cohen, and Allyson Molloy to the PNA team. Ms. Payne-Baader will be joining the 10th grade team and will be teaching English. Ms. Cohen will be joining the 10th grade team and will be teaching Math. Ms. Molloy will be joining the 11th grade team and will be teaching Spanish. PNA is excited to welcome all three to the team!

PNA Teams Sign-up

PNA’s Theory of Action states “the school is organized around the notion that collaboration and shared practices and strategies will create a supportive environment to enhance student achievement”. One cornerstone of our collaborative culture is teaming. As you are aware, PNA has several teams that meet periodically and drive most of the work of the school. PNA Closed

In order to give our custodial staff the opportunity to thoroughly clean the hallways and stairwells, the building will be closed beginning Monday, August 20th and will re-open Monday, August 27th. All teachers are welcomed to come in anytime during the week of the 27th to begin setting up their classrooms, plan curriculum, etc. Ms. Cook is available via email at scook6@schools.nyc.gov the week of the 20th if you need assistance.

As a reminder, all curriculum maps (for the entire 2012 – 2013 school year) will be due when teachers return on Tuesday, September 4th. If you need assistance with your curriculum, email Ms. Cook (scook6@schools.nyc.gov).
