Daily Lesson Plans
Per the UFT contract, all teachers are required to have accessible lesson plans on a daily basis. Failure to have a lesson plan will result in a letter to file and/or an unsatisfactory observation rating. All teachers should ensure they adhere to this policy for all teaching periods every day. Differentiation Best Practices
A Differentiation walkthrough was recently conducted. A list of best practices was generated from the data that was collected. All teachers whose lesson plans were examined will receive individual reports with the low inference observations. The list of best practices can be found at the following link:

Differentiated PD Sessions
Friday’s staff meeting will be differentiated sessions. Teachers will be signed up for a session.  The sessions will be around math curriculum planning, Smart Board usage, and Danielson component 1e. Assignments will be posted with the sign in sheet in the main office on Friday morning.
4th Marking Period Grades & Scholarship Reports
The 4th marking period ends on Monday, May 13th. PADS will open at that time. 4th marking period grades are due by 8:00am on Thursday, May 16th. Teachers should ensure they call the homes of students who are failing their class. Scholarship reports will be generated and emailed to all teachers.
PNA Family Night Awards
The last PNA Family Night of the 2012 – 2013 school year will take place the evening of Thursday, May 30th. This event will include an art show, talent show, and awards ceremony. Teachers should start planning for the awards you wish to give. Grade teams will meet next Friday to finalize awards for their grade. Weekly Attendance Sheets

NYSESLAT Testing Continues (REMINDER)

Summer School Posting (REMINDER)
The posting for summer school is now available. Interested teachers should see the link for additional information. Any teacher who taught summer school last year should claim retention rights. Contact Mr. Liu (dliu@pablonerudaacademy.org) if you have questions.
PNA Staff Invited to a Yankees Game! (REMINDER)

Open Market Hiring System
The New York City Open Market Hiring System opens Monday, April 15th and will be available through August. The system is used by teachers and other staff to view and apply for opportunities across the city. Once open, the system can be accessed at the following link:
