PNA Field Day & Activities Fair
On Wednesday there will be a Field Day and Activities Fair for students. Students will be dismissed from their 6th period class to the football field. There will be lunch and sports activities. Students will also have the opportunity to sign up for afterschool activities. Please begin to inform students of this event. All staff will be responsible for some aspect of Field Day. The sign-up sheet and more information will be communicated throughout the week.

2nd Annual PNA Back to School Night
Thank you to all staff who contributed to a very successful Back to School Night. It was a great opportunity to begin to engage PNA parents in the school. Combining Back to School Night with the Spring Honor Roll Celebration and Parent Association Meeting contributed good turnout of both parents and students. Advisors of Honor Roll attendees who were not able to attend will receive the awards to distribute.

Monthly Staff Meetings
In an effort to ensure that all teachers can attend the monthly staff meetings, the meetings will now take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Updated Class Lists
Updated class lists will be placed in your mailboxes on Monday. Please use these lists to ensure that your Teacher Ease classes are accurate. The end of the 1st marking period is Friday, October 1st. Progress Report grades will be due on Monday, October 4th. As a reminder, your grades will be automatically generated if you are using Teacher Ease; you will not have to submit EGG files. If you have questions or concerns with your lists or Teacher Ease, please see David (dliu12@schools.nyc.gov).

Kaleidoscope Testing Continues
Kaleidoscope testing continues this week. Advisors should pick up the Kaleidoscope documents in the AP office on the morning they are scheduled to administer the test. If you have questions or are having difficulties with the administration of the test, please contact Annie (aheller7@schools.nyc.gov). Student activity sheets should be placed in Annie’s mailbox as soon as students have completed them.

Performance Series Make-Up Testing
Performance Series make-up testing will begin this week during 9th period. Students who did not finish or who were absent on the day of testing will be scheduled to take the test during this time. English and Math teachers will receive more information this week.
