2011 Health Benefits Transfer Period (REMINDER)
The 2011 Health Benefits Transfer Period, also known as open enrollment, begins November 1 and continues through November 30. The transfer period is the only time during the year that employees have the opportunity to make changes to their City health benefits without experiencing a qualifying event. If you are currently eligible for City health benefits, you can participate in open enrollment. Participation is not mandatory. If you are currently enrolled in an insurance plan and you wish to keep that plan for the coming year, you do not need to do anything. Please inform your staff about open enrollment; get more information. For questions, call HR Connect at 718-935-4000.
