IMPACT Visit
On Tuesday, November 29th the Stevenson Campus will have an IMPACT visit. This comprehensive assessment will involve members from various offices of the NYC Department of Education. Similar to last year’s visit, they will observe scanning, conduct a thorough walkthrough of the building, and visit classrooms. Please ensure that your lesson plan is easily accessible on this day. In addition to instruction, the visitors will be looking at the tone and culture of the classrooms (i.e. systems such as bathroom and late logs and hallway passes) and the physical space (i.e. graffiti free, organization, and cleanliness). A report will be generated and PNA will receive feedback. Please complete a Maintenance Request form if there is graffiti in your classroom and a Supply Request Form if you need notebooks for bathroom and/or late logs. See Ms. Cook (scook6@schools.nyc.gov) if you have any questions.
