General Response Protocol

The Stevenson Campus has been selected to pilot the General Response Protocol (GRP). This protocol will be rolled out to all NYC schools in the fall of 2012. The GRP has been designed to provide the direction that schools will take when an emergency incident occurs. All staff must read the GRP Learning Tool by Thursday, January 5th. The GRP Learning Tool can be found at this link:

https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B6WHFcu0bs1kM2QwZWY2YTEtYWZiYi00YjJiLWFkYjItZmVlNmUwYzI5Mzc3&hl=en_US.

Once you have read through the tool, please confirm your completion of this task by completing the “General Response Protocol” form. This form can be found at:

Test Administration Handbook

In an effort to standardize test administration procedures in all NYC high schools, a “Test Administration Handbook for High Schools” has been developed. All staff members involved in testing must review this handbook. We will be highlighting key information during the January 6th Staff Meeting. Please take time to read the handbook and come prepared with questions. The handbook can be found at the following link:

As stated in the PNA Staff Handbook “ALWAYS lock your personal belongings and valuables such as purses, laptops, etc. Lock each classroom door whenever you leave the room.” Other personal items that need to be secured are phones, mp3 devises (such as iPods), keys, etc. Personal belongings should not be left unattended in classrooms, offices, or the teacher’s lounge. Contact Mr. Liu (dliu2@schools.nyc.gov) if you do not have a space to secure your belongings.
