Classroom Tone & Culture
In order to support an academic culture in all PNA classrooms, all teachers should ensure they are attending to the following:
Students should remove their coats during the class period
-All hats and other head gear should be removed
-No students should have their hoods on their heads
-Headphones (unless being used during the lesson) should be put away
-Students with their heads down should be addressed (if they are not feeling well physically or emotionally, they should be immediately referred to the social work office)
A tone and culture walkthrough will be conducted in all classrooms over the next few weeks. If you have questions or concerns, see Ms. Cook (scook6@schools.nyc.gov).

Regents Schedule
January Regents and RCT examinations will take place Tuesday, January 24th through Friday, January 27th. All teachers will be assisting with proctoring, hallway duty, and grading. The proctoring schedule will be communicated soon. The Examination Schedule can be found at the following link:

Professional Contributions Form
Teacher Mid-Year Reports are in the process of being developed for the Fall. Included on the report is a list of professional contributions. In order to ensure all contributions are included on the report, teacher feedback is requested. Professional contributions are low inference examples of work a teacher has done as aligned to the PNA Professional Responsibilities Framework. All teachers should fill out the Professional Contributions Form found at the following link:
