Outside Visitors
There will be visitors to our school that will be rating the school on Monday.  Ensure that your lesson plans are printed and easily accessible at all times.
Mid-Year teacher meetings
Daily meeting times will be posted on the schedule of activities board in the main office.
Student Chairs
All teachers must ensure student chairs are put up at the end of each day. Additionally, all student chairs should be taken down at the beginning of each day. Leaving chairs on desks creates a safety hazard for students. Please have students take down all chairs, even if no one will be sitting in the chair during the period.
Bells
Please be advised that the custodial staff is working very hard to try to rectify the bells in our building.  Eventually the bells will be off in our hallways and classrooms.
Update Bulletin Boards
All bulletin boards should be updated in preparation for Spring Parent Conferences. Supplies can be requested using the PNA Supply Request Form. Guidelines / best practices can be found in the PNA Staff Handbook, located at the following link:
Bulletin Board updates should be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, March 26th.
New Lesson Plan Format (Reminder)
As a reminder, part of the reason we wanted to change our template was to address Academic Rigor, Differentiation, and Understanding. Contact your grade team leader or department head if you have questions.  The Lesson Plan Template can be found at the following link:
Re-Submit Curriculum Maps (REMINDER)
The Accreditation Committee is completing the review of Social Studies curriculum maps. In order to assist with the approval process and support achievement of the committee’s goal of approving maps after one or two reviews, please re-submit curriculum maps if you have updated them.
Field Trips
Please be advised that all documents can be obtained from Ms. Franqui once trips have been approved.  As a reminder, if there are trips where students require lunch from the school, a list of students must be given in a timely matter.
College and Career resources
Ilearn has partnered with Gale TERC(Testing Educational Resource Center) to provide free resources for college and career readiness that include free online AP practice exams as well as online textbooks.  This is a great resource to use to support our high achieving students even if you are not teaching an AP class.  In order to access the materials, you need to complete a simple registration.  The resources can be found at the following link:
