Honor Roll Ceremony; Back
to School Night (Parent Teacher Conferences)
Wednesday, September 17th is our annual Back
to School night. Due to the new
contract, this night will be considered one of the 4 Parent-Teacher Conference
Nights for this school year. Parents are
invited to the school to meet their child’s teachers and visit their
classrooms. A Spring Honor Roll
Celebration and PTA meeting will also take place prior to the conferences. This is an important opportunity for staff to
meet parents and welcome them to PNA for the school year.

Update Bulletin Boards

walkthrough will be conducted at the end of the day on Monday, September 15th.

Lesson Plan
As mentioned during our staff meeting, as well as in the
staff handbook, the expectation for this year is that a copy of your lesson plan
will be in the door basket outside your room each day. Alternatively you may keep an additional copy
of your lesson plan in a binder or folder labeled “Lesson Plan” on your teacher
desk if you are concerned about leaving it on the door.

Observation selection -
Option 4
On Wednesday, September 10th the City announced
that there will be an Option 4 (Minimum of 4 informal observations) for
teachers rated effective during the 2014-15 school year. Teachers who were rated Effective and have
already selected Option 2 (Minimum of 6 informal observations), your selection
will be automatically changed to Option 4.
Teachers who were rated effective and have already selected Option 1
(Minimum of 1 Formal, and 3 Informal observations), must notify Mr. Liu if you
would like to change to Option 4.

During our first PD session all teachers were required
to select their Parent Involvement day (Tuesday or Thursday). Please be advised that on your Parent Involvement
day you may not collect per session until 3:30PM. If you need to change your day, please
