Meetings, all staff members will be participating in Field Day Activities. A sign-up sheet will be placed with the
sign-in sheet in the morning. Please
sign-up for an activity that you are interested in. If you have questions about Field Day,
contact Mr. Torres (ttorres@pablonerudaacademy.org).

Safety and Discipline
Support (ACTION REQUIRED)
Please continue to be at the classroom doors and getting
students into the classroom. Your contribution
in the hallways is greatly appreciated.
Also please synchronize your personal time keeping devices to the school
clock. There have been some instances
where classes have been opened late which has caused some safety
challenges. Also please do not give
bathroom passes out in the first 10 or last 10 minutes of the period. Bathrooms are locked at that time.

General Response
Protocol (GRP) – Evacuation and Re-Entry
During an evacuation teachers need to take with them the
Assembly Card, as well as the class attendance.
Teachers then lead students out of the building. Once outside, it is expected that you use the
Assembly Card and stay with your class.
Upon Re-Entry of the building, you should lead your class to the
scanning area by the general parking lot before you enter the building. If you have any questions about the General Response
Protocol, please refer to the GRP Poster in your classroom or contact Ms. Del
Valle (jdelvalle@pablonerudaacademy.org).

Parent Involvement Time
(Reminder)
During our first PD session, all teachers were required
to select their Parent Involvement day (Tuesday or Thursday). Please be advised that on your Parent Involvement
day you may not collect per session until 3:30PM. If you need to change your day, please
contact Mr. Liu.
You may find your official day with the following link:

Look like a Student (Reminder)
Part of the PNA PBIS program asks students to “Look Like
a Student.” This includes hats off,
pants pulled up, heads up, and following the PNA dress code. Please ensure that you consistently promote
all your students to “Look Like Students” in your classrooms at all times.

Health Notification/Health Benefits Program
The Building Response Team is in charge of student and
staff emergencies. If you have any
medical conditions that may require special treatment during an emergency,
please inform Ms. Del Valle (jdelvalle@pablonerudaacademy.org). This information is vital if you were to experience a
medical emergency on campus.
The Fall 2014 Health Benefits program Transfer Period
for City employees will be October 1st through October 31st. During this period, employees may transfer
into any health plan for which they may be eligible, add or drop Optional Rider
Coverage, or add or drop dependents in their present plan. More information can be found at the
