Observations/Lesson Plan (REMINDER)
Observations and walkthroughs have begun.  As mentioned during our staff meeting, as well as in the staff handbook, the expectation for this year is that a copy of your lesson plan will be in the door basket outside your room each day.  Alternatively you may keep an additional copy of your lesson plan in a binder or folder labeled “Lesson Plan” on your teacher desk if you are concerned about leaving it on the door.  A lesson rating will be negatively impacted if there is no lesson plan available.
General Response Protocol (GRP) – Evacuation and Re-Entry
During an evacuation teachers need to take with them the Assembly Card, as well as the class attendance.  Teachers then lead students out of the building.  Once outside, it is expected that you use the Assembly Card and stay with your class.  Upon Re-Entry of the building, you should lead your class to the scanning area by the general parking lot before you enter the building.  If you have any questions about the General Response Protocol, please refer to the GRP Poster in your classroom or contact Ms. Del Valle (jdelvalle@pablonerudaacademy.org).
MOSL Selection
Part of the overall teacher rating for this school year will be calculated from the Measure of Student Learning (MOSL).  As per the agreement, the Principal shall select how teachers are measured for the State Measurements and the MOSL Committee that is made up of teacher and admin reps select how teachers are measured for the Local Measurements.  The Committee has finalized the selections, the selections can be found at the following link:
Parking Lot Entrance
Please be advised that the campus provides a school aide to monitor the parking lot entrance until 8:30am.  After 8:30 AM, all staff must enter through the main entrance, there are no exceptions.  This is necessary to ensure campus safety.
Achieve 3000
If there is a new student who needs access to Achieve 3000, or if you need information on student sign in information, please contact Mr. Valencia (DValencia@pablonerudaacademy.org).
Parent Involvement Time (Reminder)
During our first PD session, all teachers were required to select their Parent Involvement day (Tuesday or Thursday).  Please be advised that on your Parent Involvement day you may not collect per session until 3:30PM.  If you need to change your day, please contact Mr. Liu.
You may find your official day with the following link:
Look Like a Student (Reminder)
Part of the PNA PBIS program asks students to “Look Like a Student.”  This includes hats off, pants pulled up, heads up, and following the PNA dress code.  Please ensure that you consistently promote all your students to “Look Like Students” in your classrooms at all times.
Health Notification
The Building Response Team is in charge of student and staff emergencies.  If you have any medical conditions that may require special treatment during an emergency, please inform Ms. Del Valle (jdelvalle@pablonerudaacademy.org). This information is vital if you were to experience a medical emergency on campus.
PTA Fundraiser
Please see Ms. Santos if you are interested in purchasing candy to help support our PTA and our students.
