General Response Protocol (GRP) – Evacuation and Re-Entry
During an evacuation teachers need to take with them the Assembly Card, as well as the class attendance.  Teachers then lead students out of the building.  Once outside, it is expected that you use the Assembly Card and stay with your class.  Upon Re-Entry of the building, you should lead your class to the scanning area by the general parking lot before you enter the building.  If you have any questions about the General Response Protocol, please refer to the GRP Poster in your classroom or contact Ms. Del Valle (jdelvalle@pablonerudaacademy.org).
Update Bulletin Boards (Action Required)
Please ensure bulletin boards are updated and reflect current student work for parent teacher conferences.  A Physical Space Walkthrough will be conducted at the end of the day on Monday, May 4th.  See page 71 of the PNA Staff Handbook for additional information on bulletin board expectations: https://drive.google.com/a/pablonerudaacademy.org/file/d/0B3PxGWud2LygbTFKVG5OZGtiZDg/edit
New Skedula anecdotal option
To help support the work with students and student grouping, we have added a new anecdotal option on Skedula – “Successful Strategies.”  This will allow the PNA community to share successful strategies that work with individual students.
NYSESLAT Testing Continues

PNA Dance Team
The after school dance teacher, Olisa Thompson, would like to extend an invitation to all staff members to be a part of a PNA staff dance.  Male and female staff members are welcomed to join.  No dancing experience required.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Ms. Ebonie (eraphael@pablonerudaacademy.org)
