Educational Technology Team Announcement
The PNA technology team has produced a survey for faculty to take.  The purpose of the survey is to inquire into the current levels of technology literacy our community currently possess.  Please help the team collect data for their work by completing the following survey:
Pennies for Patients
Ms. Santos is leading her yearly campaign to collect donations for Pennies for Patients.  The proceeds will go to support Leukemia & Lymphoma Research, and collections will be accepted until the month of March.
Avonte’s law (Exit Alarms) - Updated
Stevenson Campus will begin to activate the exit door alarms in January.  The exits will be activated on a rolling basis, and doors with activated alarms will be clearly identified with an additional sign that reads, “this alarm is active.”  Don’t be “that adult.”  Alarms that are blinking green are not active, alarms that are blinking red are active.  Exit doors that will directly affect staff and students are expected to be activated on February 2nd.
MetroCard Distribution
Any student who were absent on their designated day can pick up their MetroCard on Monday January 25th.  MetroCards will be distributed from the main office conference room.
Laundry Room
The Laundry Room located by room 449 is opened to all staff to use after school. You can obtain the key to the room from Ms. Santos or Ms. Del Valle.
Youth Court Referrals and Support
The PNA Youth Court is a great alternative to traditional disciplinary action.  If you have a situation where you believe an alternative disciplinary action may be a superior response, please use the Youth Court Referral form.  The form can be accessed at the form page on our PNA google site. (https://sites.google.com/site/pablonerudaacademynyc/pna-meeting-notes). If you have any questions about the Youth Court, please contact Mr. Dinner (ldinner@pablonerudaacademy.org).
