and teachers will be notified of the meeting via email and via your regents

Avonte’s
law (Exit Alarms) - Updated
Stevenson Campus will
begin to activate the exit door alarms in January. The exits will be activated on a rolling
basis, and doors with activated alarms will be clearly identified with an
additional sign that reads, “this alarm is active.” Don’t be “that
adult.” Alarms that are blinking
green are not active, alarms that are blinking red are active. Exit doors that will directly affect staff and
students are expected to be activated the week of Jan 18th.

MetroCard
Distribution
Spring semester
MetroCards will be distributed to students next week after school (12th
Grade – 1/19/16; 11th Grade – 1/20/16; 10th Grade – 1/21/16;
9th Grade – 1/22/16). Any student
that was absent on their designated day can pick up their MetroCard on January
25th. MetroCards will be
distributed from the main office conference room.

The PNA Youth Court is
a great alternative to traditional disciplinary action. If you have a situation where you believe an
alternative disciplinary action may be a superior response, please use the
Youth Court Referral form. The form can
