June 8th
On our June 8th PROSE day we will be
following a Friday schedule with 6th period ending at 12:00pm. During 3rd period, students in 10th
and 11th grade will have an opportunity to take an electives
survey. This survey will allow students
to have some voice on their electives and/or AP class. Students in all grades will be taking the
student perception survey, more information for both exams will be communicated
next week via email.
After student dismissal Ms. Niove will be leading an ELL
PD. If you are interested in attending,
there will be a signup sheet made available at the front desk on Monday.

Parent outreach for
students in danger of failing
Please ensure that you are reaching out to parents when
students are not meeting classroom expectations. The final marking period will end June 13th. Parents should not be surprised of student
failures once they receive their report card.
We must ensure that they have been contacted and informed. Ms. Santos (ysantos@pablonerudaacademy.org) is available to assist with the contact and
translation.

Co-Planning opportunity
Thanks to the hard work of the Grants and Partnerships
team, we were able to secure a grant to support the ELLs in our school. Part of the grant money will allow Ms. Wanda
and Ms. Niove to co-plan with teachers that do not have ELL push in
services. If you are interested in

Regulations on leaving

All pedagogues who want to resign from the NYCDOE must
submit letters of resignation at least 30-calendar days in advance of their date
of resignation. This only applies to
pedagogues who choose to leave the NYCDOE.
