General Response Protocol (GRP) – Evacuation and Soft Lock Down Reminders
During an evacuation, teachers need to take with them the Assembly Card, as well as the class attendance.  Teachers then lead students out of the building.  Once outside, it is expected that you use the Assembly Card and stay with your class.  During a soft lockdown, please ensure classroom doors are locked, lights are off, and students are out of sight.  If you have any questions please reach out to a BRT Member (Ms. Del Valle, Mr. Torres, Mr. Valencia, and Mr. Guardado).
Hallway Support
Please remember to position yourself at your classroom door during transition to usher students into class.  An extra voice during passing does make a difference.
Bullying prevention month
The PNA Social Work Office had an information Q & A in the cafeteria during the week of October 17th.  If you need resources or would like Ms. Millie to push into your classes to speak about Bullying in the month of October, please contact Ms. Millie (mreyesluciano@pablonerudaacademy.org)
7th period daily attendance (UPDATE)
The NYCDOE ATS system is unable to be used for our needs at this time.  While the central team is working on a solution, we will be adopting the same policy as 1st period attendance calls.  The attendance team will be pulling 7th as well as 1st period attendance from Skedula in order to make automated phone calls to students that were absent and late for 1st period and/or absent for 7th period.
Supply Request
If you are planning a school event that requires supplies such as napkins, or plates, please use the supply request form so that these items may be set aside for you in advance.  Please be advised that each teacher is allotted 15 reams of paper per semester and may continue to request for those resources on the same supply request form.
Reimbursements for PBIS and School Supplies
Due to heavy restrictions from the Department of Education, any purchase that may require a reimbursement must be approved by Mr. Liu first.  In order to obtain approval, please submit the request on our supply request form.  As a reminder, items found in the www.shopdoe.com system have less restrictions, as well as purchases that will be going toward teacher’s choice reimbursements.
