Staff Appreciation Week
This has been a
challenging year for everyone, and I wanted to thank all of you for your hard
work and support balancing the needs of the students and working towards a
consolidated school. I want to share how
proud I am, in a year where Administration did not have time to monitor all
aspects of our school, the staff leaders and teams were able to continue the work
and continue developing innovative strategies, a true sign of distributive
leadership. Next week we will be
offering continental breakfast for Monday, extra paper for Wednesday, and some
new school wear celebrating our new school name on Friday.

End of day procedures (Reminder)
All teachers
should ensure that students do not leave class before the end of the day bell
rings at 3:00PM/3:45PM. The tone
and culture of every class should promote students asking for permission to
leave the classroom, and not that students can freely walk in and out of class
during the lesson and at the end of the day.
All teachers must also ensure student chairs are put up at the end of
each day. Additionally, all student chairs should be taken down at the
beginning of each day. Please have students take down all chairs, even if
no one will be sitting in the chair during the period.
