Fall Honor Roll Awards Ceremony & Financial Aid Workshop
Our Fall Honor Roll Awards Ceremony will take place this Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:00. Twenty-nine PNA scholars (a 50% increase over the previous term) will receive awards in recognition of their achievement during the fall term. The night will also include a Parent Association meeting and a financial aid workshop for our seniors and their families. Please join us for this celebration.

Staff Meeting: Differentiated Sessions
This week’s staff meeting will be differentiated sessions. The topics of the differentiated sessions will be differentiation, curriculum maps, and questioning in the classroom. Take time to think about which topic you are interested in. A session sign-in sheet will be placed in the Main Office on Wednesday morning. Senior Picture Day
The second Senior Picture Day is scheduled for Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Bronx Guild’s room 424. Staff members who missed the first picture day are encouraged to get their pictures taken. It takes approximately five minutes. Staff participation will greatly aid the yearbook process. Respect for All Month in Advisories (Submission of Completed Student Work)
“Respect for All” month continues in advisory for the remainder of February. Advisors have received materials and student copies. As a reminder, all student work products should be submitted to Ms. Heller as they are completed. If you have questions or did not receive your materials, see Ms. Heller (aheller7@schools.nyc.gov).

Advisory Emergency Lesson Plans
Per the PNA Staff Handbook, three days worth of lesson plans should be submitted to Mr. Liu to be kept on file in the Main Office. This includes plans for your advisory. These will only be used if you are unexpectedly absent and cannot leave more timely work for your students. The plans should relate to your content area and should be adaptable for use at any time during the semester. With your lesson plans you should include directions, all necessary copies for students, and relevant information. These should already have been submitted. If you have not already done so, please submitted lessons for all of your classes (including advisory).
