PNA Re-Opens
PNA and the Stevenson Campus building re-open on Monday, August 29th. All staff members are welcome and encouraged to come in and begin to unpack/set-up their classrooms and offices. Creation of the PNA Technology Coordinator
Due to the steadily increasing amounts of technology, PNA now has a Technology Coordinator. Beginning on August 29th, Alex Romero will take on the responsibilities of Technology Coordinator full-time. This position will be extremely important as we implement new resources this year (such as iLearnNYC and Skedula).

2010 – 2011 Quality Review Report
PNA’s Quality Review Report for the 2011 – 2012 school year has been released. All staff members should read this report. The feedback listed on the report is being used to shape this year’s school-wide instructional focus, re-shape Grade Team and Department work, and to assist us with as we implement the DYO assessment process. As a reminder, all curriculum maps (fully aligned to the Common Core State Standards) will need to be submitted in electronic format by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 6th. Due to urgent information that must be presented to all staff, there will not be time during this PD day to work on your maps. PNA Teams Sign-Up (Reminder)
PNA’s Theory of Action states: “The school is organized around the notion that collaboration and shared practices and strategies will create a supportive environment to enhance student achievement”. One cornerstone of our collaborative culture is teaming. As you are aware PNA has several teams that meet periodically and drive some of the work of the school. We are asking all staff to complete the “PNA Teams Sign-up Form” and let us know which teams you are interested in being a part of. The form can be found at the following link:
