Student Chairs
As previously stated, all teachers must ensure student chairs are put up at the end of each day. Additionally, all student chairs should be taken down at the beginning of each day. Leaving chairs on desks creates a safety hazard for students. Please have students take down all chairs, even if no one will be sitting in the chair during the period.
Update Bulletin Boards
All bulletin boards should be updated in preparation for Spring Parent Conferences. Supplies can be requested using the PNA Supply Request Form. Guidelines / best practices can be found in the PNA Staff Handbook, located at the following link:
Bulletin Board updates should be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, March 14th.
National Honor Society
The implementation of the National Honor Society is happening at a rapid pace. Eligible seniors have been identified and have begun the application process. Part of the application process is four letters of recommendation from teachers. Applications are due Friday, March 8th. Please be aware that you may be approached for a recommendation. Recommendations should be quickly returned to Ms. Molloy or Ms. St. Pierre. Contact Ms. Heller (aheller@pablonerudaacademy.org) if you have questions.
PNA Parent Newsletter
The PNA Parent Newsletter is an important way we communicate with our families. Contact Ms. Heller (aheller@pablonerudaacademy.org) if you have information you would like to include in one of the monthly newsletters. The March newsletter that was mailed to homes can be found at the following link:
Classroom Temperature
The temperature of classrooms and works spaces should be comfortable. If the temperature in your room is either too hot or too cold, please immediately report it using the Maintenance Request Form. The form can be found at the following link:
Contact Ms. Cook (scook@pablonerudaacademy.org) if you have questions.
Re-Submit Curriculum Maps (REMINDER)
The Accreditation Committee is completing the review of ELA curriculum maps. In order to assist with the approval process and support achievement of the committee’s goal of approving maps after one or two reviews, please re-submit curriculum maps (to Ms. Cook) if you have updated them. Particular attention should be paid to essential questions, performance tasks, and a thorough alignment to the Common Core State Learning Standards. The Committee uses a protocol and rubric to review and give feedback on maps. Please reference these resources and ensure your map meets all criteria. The protocol and rubric can be found at the following links:
