Caron Staple will be visiting PNA next Monday April 27th. During her visit she may choose to visit your
classroom, as well as look at your bulletin board. Make sure to have printed lesson plans on
this day.

NYSESLAT
testing for ELL students begins this week.
The speaking test is taking place the next two weeks (4/21-30), with 2-4
students being pulled out each period for testing. The following 2 weeks (5/4 – 15), all ELL
students will be taking the remaining three portions of the exam. A detailed schedule, which includes ELL
teachers who will be proctoring and student groups that will be tested, will be
emailed out next week.

College Fair

Tuesday April 21st, Stevenson Campus will be having a campus wide
college fair in Gym 3 and 4. PNA
students will be participating in the college fair during their PE and SLC

Book Club – Bronx Guild Invitation
Bronx
Guild has started a book club that plan to meet the first Friday of each
month. The first book club discussion
will happen on May 1st at 4:00pm at a TBD location in East Tremont. The two books that will be discussed are The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil
Gaiman and Silence by Shusaku
Endo. If you are interested you only
need to read one of the two books. If
