PNA Student Activities
PNA student activities will be starting Monday, October 19th.  Activities will be advertised via flyers and daily announcements.  Student activities must have ten interested students that participate in order for the activity to meet.  All activity per session and coverage requests must be accompanied by a student sign in sheet.  All forms should be submitted to Ms. Franqui.  The PNA Fall Student Activities flyer may be found at the following link: https://docs.google.com/a/pablonerudaacademy.org/document/d/1ZSUiFImFAkH-FeVnDp36abwNdUi0LdDUjPk7UQdgr2s/edit?usp=sharing
Field Trip Request
Please be advised that field trip requests should be made at least two weeks in advance.  This will allow ample time for admin to ensure the date does not interfere with other events, as well as time to set up transportation and permission slips.  The form is designed for you to think through the systems that are needed on the day of the trip.  When making plans you need to consider: Special transportation accommodations for SWDs; Teachers that will be attending or staying behind on trip day; Teacher that will collect and verify permission slips and attendance; The plan for lunches; and which staff will be in charge of cell phone collection; etc.   Once your trip has been approved, you will receive the approved permission slip for strudent distribution.
Achieve 3000
If there is a new student who needs access to Achieve 3000 or if you need information on student sign in information please contact Mr. Valencia (DValencia@pablonerudaacademy.org).
Student Expectations
Please reinforce with your students our school-wide expectations for hats off and having a pass to leave the classroom.  Teachers, please remember to leave the bathroom passes in the corresponding classroom.
End of day procedures (Reminder)
All teachers should ensure that students do not leave class before the end of the day bell rings at 3:00PM.  The tone and culture of every class should promote students asking for permission to leave the classroom, and not that students can freely walk in and out of class during the lesson and at the end of the day.  All teachers must also ensure student chairs are put up at the end of each day. Additionally, all student chairs should be taken down at the beginning of each day. Leaving chairs on desks creates a safety hazard for students. Please have students take down all chairs, even if no one will be sitting in the chair during the period.
