Student Expectations
Please reinforce with your students our school-wide
expectations for hats off and having a pass to leave the classroom. Teachers, please remember to leave the
bathroom passes pass in the corresponding classroom.
…
Field Trip Request
Please be advised that field trip request should be made
at least two weeks in advance. This will
allow ample time for admin to ensure the date does not interfere with other
events, as well as time to set up transportation and permission slips.

End of day procedures
(Reminder)
All teachers should ensure that students do not
leave class before the end of the day bell rings at 3:00PM. The tone and culture of every class should
promote students asking for permission to leave the classroom, and not that
students can freely walk in and out of class during the lesson and at the end
of the day. All teachers must also
ensure student chairs are put up at the end of each day. Additionally, all
student chairs should be taken down at the beginning of each day. Leaving
chairs on desks creates a safety hazard for students. Please have students take
down all chairs, even if no one will be sitting in the chair during the
period.

Procedures for signing
in and out (Reminder)
The protocol and mandates for schools entering
attendance has changed at the school level.
Due to this shift, we have put in place a slightly different system so
that we can ensure we manage all attendance on our own without central audits. All staff will be required to punch in if
they arrive late, in addition to signing in.
All staff will also be required to punch out as well as sign out when
leaving early. To help streamline this
process, there will be a second timeclock and set of cards in Ms. Franqui’s
office. As per the staff handbook, the
sign in sheet is available at the front desk at 7:30am, please ensure you sign
in before 8:00am. If you arrive late to
work, please immediately sign in/punch in with Ms. Franqui (with the time of
sign in/punch in.) With the new
protocol, Ms. Franqui has to mark all staff present daily, which means if you
do not sign in you are automatically marked absent until Ms. Franqui has an opportunity
to reverse it. With the new mandates, I
implore all staff to follow the procedure to avoid potential fines,
suspensions, and terminations that may be levied by central offices.

Staff IDs
